Two
mates of long standing …… having a great time – giving the audience one
too.
Prepare
yourselves for a wonderful evening of superb and glittering
interpretations of blues / country blues material – old and new. A warm,
funny, entertaining and impressive evening from Mark Knopfler’s co-Notting
Hillbilly guitarists and vocalists.
They’ll
toss a coin – you might be the “audient” (? !!) to choose how they
kick-off the evening… the loser will play 2nd (but not fiddle)
…. and take his turn later – but the guys will warm and then melt you with
talent, charm, humour and wit.
There’ll
be ‘drinks-break ’…. a very good idea – because after the interval no
mercy will be shown or expected.
To get
them to "describe their evening with" – has been a tough job…. but here
goes…
As Lonnie Johnson said of his own musical ability: "To do
this, you got to know how."
As
said of Eddie Cochran: "Shorty must’a had something, boy, that can’t be
found in books…"
